LOW VOLUME & ONE OFF HATCHES, PORTLIGHTS & DOORS
The only option when you need a very specific shape and size in low volumes. Perfect for new builds, but especially useful for refits where the original design is no longer available.
Hatches and Portlights are not made to any standard sizing. Once discontinued, these are impossible to replace with new. However, Onward Marine can deliver you custom made hatches, windows or portlights. Furthermore, these are made to virtually any shape and size you need. With no minimum order volume or value.
Also, you will need to provide exact dimensions by way of a drawing or CAD model. However, if that is unavailable please provide accurate templates of the hole dimensions.
CE Approved. According to ISO/DIS 12216 deck hatches are approved for Area II, III, and IV designs for craft type “any”.
Order with a standard hinge and hatch arm, or with patented ‘fricative hinges’ which will allow the lid to stay open at any angle with no need for a support arm. Because of this, the action is similar to a friction hinge but works differently and does not fade.
